Fashionably Late.

What can a pair say and do when they've been late in getting wedding thank yous out to people? We have been married 2 years, with 2 separations among other major challenges, and ultimately need to send cards.

At the same time we are embarrassed about our problems in wedding and getting out the cards.

Ladd, the new year is a time for new beginnings.

Spend a few moments to coarse out the message.

You never have to say sorry for your own marital challenges.

This issue is disturbing you. Since the doing is to satisfy you, her collusion is not needed. Do not let the small negative voice inside you make you fail to act simply because she's not willing to act.

Direct Answers - Column for the week of July one, 2002.

I am a 26-year-old flight attendant engaged to get married in ten weeks.

On Sun. she verbally attacked me at their home. My future father-in-law doesn't say much, as he cannot handle his better half, but everybody else is chuffed for us.

I have one drawback in that I met my fianc thru his youngest bro, who I dated temporarily. Since we didn't see any future in the relationship, we stayed mates. My fianc want to try for a reconciliation, but I'm not sure if I am able to excuse her after a scene full of such loathing.

Marissa, as a flight attendant, you have to have dealt with many irritated, sad folks. You're like the worker of a business who need to control her tongue before a rude shopper.

Usually we promote being forthright in saying feelings lest the person making the scene be permitted to win. in this situation it might not be mandatory. Whenever I called her at work or she called me, she always called me honey or anything apart from my first name.

I suspect the reason I realized the reason is because it sounded so unusual to hear.

If she refuses or jokes her way out of your request, let her know when she home you want to debate something that has been troubling you.
